Nutrition & Meals
At Kids Paradise, we provide two nutritious snacks daily for all children. Parents are responsible for sending a healthy, balanced lunch with their child each day. We encourage lunches that align with Canada's Food Guide and offer guidelines to help you pack nutritious meals.
Allergy Awareness: We are a nut-aware centre. Please inform us immediately of any allergies your child has. For detailed information on managing allergies and our allergy policies, please review our Allergy Guidelines or contact our office directly.

Curriculum & Pedagogy
Play-Based Learning Benefits
Play is fundamental to a child's development. Our play-based approach allows children to explore, experiment, and discover at their own pace. This method naturally fosters critical thinking, enhances problem-solving skills, and promotes social-emotional growth as children learn to collaborate, share, and communicate. Through engaging play, children also develop creativity, strengthen language abilities, and improve fine and gross motor skills, laying a strong foundation for future learning and success. Research consistently shows play boosts cognitive flexibility and overall well-being.

Emergent Curriculum & Documentation
Our curriculum emerges from the children's own interests, passions, and inquiries. Educators act as facilitators, carefully observing and listening to the children to understand their curiosities. Learning experiences are then co-designed with the children, making them meaningful, relevant, and deeply engaging. We document these learning journeys through various mediums like detailed observations, photographs, and samples of children's work. This documentation makes learning visible, helps track developmental progress, and is shared with families to offer insights into their child's experiences and foster a strong home-school connection.
